Creating lists of your favorite songs

A playlist is a list of songs from your library, in a specific order. Use playlists to "program" your music for specific moods, artists, or themes.

Choose New Playlist from the File menu, then type a name for the playlist in the source list. To add a song, drag the song from your library to the playlist. To change the order of songs, select the playlist, then drag the song titles into the order you want.

Songs have to be in your library to add them to a playlist. You can't add a song directly from a CD. Import it from the CD so it's in your library. Then you can add it to your playlist.
